Enlightened Wisdom for Modern Times
– Blessing Empowerment of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita

At this special event the NKT’s Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita, a female Buddha who is the manifestation of the perfection of wisdom of all Buddhas. During the empowerment we will receive special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. With wisdom we develop beneficial understandings and intentions that will lead us to inner peace, freedom and the pure happiness of enlightenment so that we become a truly beneficial being in this world.
We will also learn a special method to overcome obstacles and dangers by reciting the Heart Sutra and meditating on emptiness (the ultimate nature of reality), practiced in conjunction with a brief yet powerful practice called The Great Mother.
The Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Jampa
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is the Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and the Resident Teacher at IKRC Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA.
He has studied under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and taught internationally for many years and is greatly admired for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
